I'm well aware that we aren't exactly friends, but I'm also aware that having your powers bound chafes at you just as much as it does me. If Kirk was able to take over the Barge, then I was wrong and escape is not impossible. We simply need to find out how he did it. Unfortunately, with my physical frailty, lack of powers, and lack of anything remotely resembling charm, I'm uncertain of my current interrogation abilities. That is where you come in.

Get Kirk drunk. That part I'd do myself, but due to my history on the Barge he'd likely be worried that I'd spike his drink with something less pleasant than alcohol. He seems like the sort who likes his ego stroked, so use that to your advantage. Talk about how impressed you are, and try to get him bragging about how he did it. That sort of thing.

And when he sees through it? When he asks why I wish to spend such time with him? Shall I say my good friend Raistlin suggested we get to know each other?

Well, you have far more experience in interacting with people in a way that doesn't make them suspicious of your intentions, I figured you could think of something.

Do it after he takes us where we're going. Tell him that you had more fun there than you have since you arrived, and you want to thank him. Tell him also that you are impressed with his courage, taking over a ship controlled by an entity as powerful as the Admiral.

Men are not as easily fooled as you seem to think. The only reason I have to befriend him will be obvious.

I asked my first warden many times, but I can't recall if I bothered to ask my current warden. I suppose I saw no hope for her answer being any different.
